Venice, the city surrounded by water
You have to visit Venice at least once in your life because it is really charming. There are beautiful sights, shops, alleys and picturesque restaurants. Many people forget the local people who live normally in Venice. Maybe it is inconceivable for us not to have buses or cars in the city. You won't find anything like that in Venice. All services have boats instead of cars. It is said that Venice will be under water in 50 years, so we had to move to see everything.
After we disembarked, we went to see the square of St. Mark and St. Mark's Basilica Mark. There are always a lot of tourists, but due to the pandemic, there weren't that many now. It was great because we didn't expect any queues anywhere. St. Mark's Square Mark is sometimes underwater, which is very interesting. When you see photos of people walking there in rubber boots, it's funny. In Venice there are very famous wooden boats called gondolas. When you take a ride on them, I tell you that it will be one of the most beautiful experiences of yours. After all the sights, we visited the beautiful bar, where we tasted raw shrimps, which were very good.
At the end of our weekend we went shopping, because there are very famous masks in Venice. Tourists and locals alike wear them at the famous Venetian Carnival, so they have them everywhere. We visited the Venetian beach at Lido, which is an island near Venice. We also tasted their ice cream. I'm probably after my parents, because I liked aperol the most. The trip to Venice was great and I definitely recommend it to you all.
