Bratislava, the beautiful capital without a metro

Before arriving in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, we planned to visit Děvín Castle. It is located on a rock and has a beautiful view of the confluence of the Danube and Moravia. I really liked the castle and Bratislava even more. I have already visited many capitals, and when I compare it with Vienna or Berlin, for example, I like Bratislava the most. Actually, I don't even know why. Maybe it's her size, which is similar to my native Brno. Maybe it is the beautiful Danube or the dominant castle, which now houses the sympathetic Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová.

I liked the castle and the view of the Danube the most. From the castle we went down to the new UFO bridge and walked through the central square. We saw a special Blue Church and St. Martin's Cathedral, where they crowned all the kings. We were looking for famous street statues in the city, the most beautiful of which was the staring statue. In the evening we visited the best restaurant in Bratislava, which is located directly on the bridge in UFU. It has a beautiful view of Bratislava Castle, for example. The food was really delicious. But it wasn't just about food. The waiters did a lot of effects. Every part of the restaurant had something unconventional. I was interested in, for example, a chair for a purse for women, or men's toilets, which looked like buckets.

The next day we went to the Bratislava Zoo, which pleasantly surprised me. It wasn't very big, but we saw, for example, a white tiger, an albino lion, or even an albino anaconda. But the best were the monkeys, with whom you really don't get bored here. They also bred a giant bear there, which normally lives in the wild in the forests of Slovakia, and believe me, you don't want to meet him.

Many people think that Bratislava is not a very nice city. But I think the opposite. And I don't mind at all that he doesn't have a subway. It would certainly be nice if we once had a beautiful stadium in Brno as the most famous Slovak club Slovan Bratislava.
